About

Julie Jug, CTRS

Julie Jug, CTRS

I have been a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) since 2001, with 15 years of experience in senior living as a manager of life enrichment. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with residents in independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing settings. Prior to my work in senior living, I spent 5 years as a recreational therapist in acute rehab, serving individuals with spinal cord injuries, stroke, and traumatic brain injuries, as well as worked with the adaptive sports program.

I started this company because I saw a growing need for companionship and support for seniors in the home setting. Throughout my career, I’ve been a passionate advocate for senior care, always striving to ensure they experience the best quality of life possible. I pride myself on being patient and reliable, ensuring that every individual receives the attention and care they deserve. My goal every day is to bring joy and fun to those I work with, reminding them that life doesn’t have to feel heavy – we can be silly, laugh, and make the most of each moment.

I am a wife of 18 years to Billy, mother of 2 fun daughters, Delaney and Macey, and am blessed to have a life filled with wonderful family and friends!  In my spare time, I am an assistant coach for my daughter's softball team, I play slow-pitch softball myself and I love hanging out with family and friends in our pool in the summer months.
